چکیده

Research activities and research output, in general, have increased, keep increasing vastly, so too is on the polar regions including Svalbard Arctic. Major commercial publishers built subscription-based services which present literature for a fee. As Open Science open access to data gaining momentum, there distinct need powerful discovery tools that can harvest datasets form - free of charge. Moreover, sharing underlying becoming new norm. So, integrate papers same search, helps speed up processes as well fostering transparency research, minimize duplication fieldwork experiments.
Polar (https://openpolar.no/) developed by UiT The Arctic University Norway, use tool publications specifically targeting output regions, across all subject areas, irrespective where originates. Through carefully designed algorithm, extracting metadata (including URL landing page full text) from more than 4600 sources worldwide making these accessible through user-friendly search service an option via geolocations map, with systematic features. algorithm used picks relevant located most remote content providers sources. Thus, searching will result records purely relevance regions.
In this contribution, we many advantageous features Polar, show how supporting integrity-enhancing procedures, enabling papers.

On the polar derivative of a polynomial

For a polynomial p(z) of degree n, having all zeros in |z|< k, k< 1, Dewan et al [K. K. Dewan, N. Singh and A. Mir, Extension of some polynomial inequalities to the polar derivative, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 352 (2009) 807-815] obtained inequality between the polar derivative of p(z) and maximum modulus of p(z). In this paper we improve and extend the above inequality. Our result generalizes certai...

Open Access Data in Polar and Cryospheric Remote Sensing

This paper aims to introduce the main types and sources of remotely sensed data that are freely available and have cryospheric applications. We describe aerial and satellite photography, satellite-borne visible, near-infrared and thermal infrared sensors, synthetic aperture radar, passive microwave imagers and active microwave scatterometers. We consider the availability and practical utility o...

Psychrophiles and polar regions.

Most reviews of microbial life in cold environments begin with a lament of how little is known about the psychrophilic (cold-loving) inhabitants or their specific adaptations to the cold. This situation is changing, as research becomes better focused by new molecular genetic (and other) approaches, by awareness of accelerated environmental change in polar regions, and by strong interest in the ...
